We firmly believe that, in business, to stand still is to go backwards. That’s why we are constantly looking to introduce new technological solutions for our customers. Quick Core is a classic example of how that approach can “and does“ succeed.

In essence, it’s a system specially designed to enhance the speed and efficiency of the coring process, yielding superior core quality and recovery.

It was developed in response to a recognised need for ever more reliable and ever more accurate formation evaluation data. Quest Coring’s Quick Core provides that competitive edge, while significantly reducing drilling downtime meaning cost savings for our customers.

The Quick Core 76 solution is a slim hole wireline coring system developed to deliver (76mm) core in 6 1/4” (159mm) hole size at depths under 1000m. QuickCore 89, meanwhile, is a wireline retrievable coring system that delivers conventional coring diameter and length core from virtually any depth.

It has a particular application to gas shale plays, which present their own challenges when it comes to accurate evaluation of reservoir structure.

Quick Core has already proven its capabilities and value in many projects across the US and Canada. Now, through the Corpro-Quest alliance, it’s become a global proposition.
